Undo leads the Karangalan Kids in prayer
Mahal na Panginoon,
Salamat sa library
Salamat sa pagkain
Salamat kay Teacher Kam, Teacher Aileen, Teacher Sherwil, Teacher Frannie, Teacher Marifel,
Salamat kay Teacher Rhea,
Salamat sa nagbigay ng papel.
Salamat sa nagbigay ng lapis
Salamat sa nagbigay ng color. Amen.
The children, through their reading and writing work, are trying to earn points not only to exchange for the donations you send but also for a trip to the carnival this December. Come and visit Karangalan Library (Cainta Rizal) to see their progress!
Thank you to Jamie Lyn C. Arcega for the notepads, art paper, crayons, and pencils. The kids are so grateful! For more pictures from this visit, click here.

Dear Friends of BASA,
It is very inspiring to read about your Out Reach Projects for poor kids in the Philippines, specifically BASA.
I came from the so called urban poor and basically grew up amongst the poorest of the poor.
Currently, I am working in Singapore and earning a modest living enough to sustain my family.
My greatest dream, however, is to help the Phili Govt thru NGOs to put up a network of Libraries in the Phillippines, similar to the network of Libraries that the Government of Singapore operates here.

More power to all of you and I hope to be a part of this program in one way or another.
regards,
Lanie Francisco
Thanks Lanie! We look forward to hearing your ideas!
